Nestled amid 10 acres of private grounds, on the southern slopes of Dartmoor National Park, this family-run award-winning hotel provides the ideal base from which to explore the natural beauty of... We enjoyed a lovely relaxing time with excellent food. The hotel is set within beautiful Dartmoor park with Haytor in the distance. We enjoyed really amazing food in the dining room for both breakfast and dinner, and and a relaxing bottle of wine in the lounge. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The price is a really great value.

Booked 2 rooms for our family holiday. We used our large apartment as the base retiring to our own rooms at the end of the evening. Thank you for the eggs, milk and lovely bottle of wine. This Grade II* listed property offers a separate self-catering one-bedroom cottage within the 16th Century thatched farmstead. We didn't have breakfast. Everything was fine. Host was very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.
